Fire scare at Winthrop Beach tests new steam engine
A Potters stable at Ocean Spray in Winthrop burned on Tuesday night causing an estimated 5000 dollars in losses. The new steam fire engine performed well with Chief Walcott praising its role. Ex representative Delos Bristol's adjoining stable narrowly escaped as firefighters battled icy ground and hard privacy.

Q and Q Club Sets Planned Boston Event

Miss Muriel Minifie Celebrates Sixteenth Birthday Surprise
Miss Muriel Minifie elder daughter of Rev Dr Minifie of Winthrop Highlands celebrated her sixteenth birthday with a surprise party hosted by her school friends.
