Tennis Club Adopts New Constitution and Plans
The Tennis Club held a Tuesday meeting in Veterans Hall and adopted a constitution and by laws. A seven member board will be elected Friday night to govern for one year. Grounds committee reported land options and requested time to decide. E S Freeman showed court layout plans and an attractive club house design. Membership rose to 85 with more applications pending.

Lincoln Day at P A L Club Hosts Share Readings
The P A L Club met Tuesday afternoon at 191 Huntington Avenue Boston with hostess Mrs J W Rover. John Clarkson Dies at McLean Hospital After Pneumonia
Former baseball pitcher John Clarkson died at 11 12 Thursday forenoon at McLean hospital of pneumonia. He had been brought from Winthrop after a severe shock incident and had continued to fail since arrival. Mrs Clarkson was with him at his death.

The Deane Winthrop Chapter of the D A R entertained members and guests on Fremont Street for Lincoln afternoon. Miss Mary Pratt read The Perfect Tribute by Mary Raymond Shipman Andrews. The chapter voted to buy a flag for Miss Lucy Hayes grade sending it for Lincoln day. Next meeting is March 3 in the chapter room.
