Funeral Rites For Former Winters Resident Held Here
Funeral services for Mrs. W. S. Riddle 82 of Wichita Falls and former Winters resident were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Spill Memorial Chapel with Rev. B. T. Shoemake officiating. Burial followed at Northview Cemetery. Mrs. Riddle died Thursday in a Wichita Falls hospital after a year as patient and years of ill health. Born January 15 1877 she was the former Daisey Kelsey and married to W. S. Riddle on October 26 1905. The couple moved to Winters in 1909 where he worked with the Kornegay Gin for many years.

Riddle dies. Mrs Riddle remains in Winters home
Riddle died in 1949 and Mrs. Riddle continued to reside in Winters. She was a long time member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lillian Wilkerson of Corpus Christi, and one brother in California, four wives, two from Fort Worth, one from Wichita Falls, and one from San Antonio.
