First season gathering at the Gym hosts ice cream and games
A crowd attended the season opening at the Gym with home made ice cream sandwiches and drinks served by Mrs Therone Osbourne and Mrs Marvin Gerhart. President Therone Osbourne led a brief meeting and Mrs Brenda Brown was elected secretary. Games of 84 followed. Mrs James Earl Cooper took her son Larry W to Gainesville for enrollment at Cook County Junior College on the 5th where he studies law enforcement.

Graveside Service for Infant Bryan Alan Young
Graveside services were held at Lakeview Cemetery for Bryan Alan Young infant son of Glen and Norman Young of Jacksboro. The Rev. Virgil James and the Rev. Harry Grantz officiated with Spill Funeral Home directing. The infant died at 5:30 p m Wednesday after birth. Survivors include the parents two brothers and four grandparents with a great grandfather listed.
