Mrs. Otto Wright, 88, Dies in North Runnels Hospital
Mrs. Samaria Catherine Singleton Wright died at 5:20 p m Tuesday in North Runnels Hospital after a short admission. Born in Henderson Tennessee on January 13, 1883 she moved to Texas with her family as a girl, married Otto Wright in Deport in 1905 and lived in Winters for 50 years. She was a First Baptist Church member. survivors include two sons Gaylon and Vernon Wright, a daughter Mrs Brazie Blanchard, seven grandchildren ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral Thursday at Spill Memorial Chapel with burial at Lakeview Cemetery.

A gift tea Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Mathis honored Mrs. David Harrison formerly Becky Brown of Winters. Guests included family and friends such as Griff Brown and Mrs. A. H. Harrison of Bradshaw. About 45 attendees enjoyed a lace table setup with a sterling punch bowl and bronze chrysanthemum garlands.
