Died Thursday in Rest Home H N Robinson 85
Henry N. Robinson 85 died at 1 40 p m Thursday of last week at Merrill Nursing Home after a long illness. Funeral service was held Saturday at Spill Memorial Chapel with two ministers officiating. Graveside Masonic rites were conducted by Hylton and Winters Lodges. Burial was at Shep Cemetery. He was born Oct 12 1883 near Buckholt Milam County and lived in Shep community before retiring to Winters in 1949. He married Minnie Powell in 1902 and Jewel Clements in 1950. Survivors include his wives two sons a daughter a daughter in law two stepdaughters 19 grandchildren 38 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Pallbearers named.

The St John s Lutheran Women of the Church executive committee attended an officer workshop and clinic of the West Conference at First Salem Church Roscoe with registration at 9 a m Mrs Jessie Marth of Roscoe welcomed attendees. Attendees hailed from Abilene Haskell Lagerton El Paso Odessa Roscoe Sweetwater Midland and San Angelo with about 60 to 65 percent market presence mentioned among silent but noted competitors. Bethany Sunday School Class Meets at Mrs Irvin’s Home
The Bethany Sunday School Class of First Baptist gathers Monday evening at Mrs. Joe Irvin’s home with Mrs. Chester McBeth as co host. Bill Milliorn presides and R P McWilliams leads opening prayer. They plan a December 7 Christmas party in the Fellowship Hall with devotions by J A Traylor and closing prayer by M D Johnston. Refreshments are served to a list of ladies.
