Finch P Murphy 88 years old and a former Winters resident died in a Coleman nursing home after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held in Winters with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Born January 3, 1885 in Hill County he lived in Midland Sterling City Talpa Ballinger and Coleman. He married Julia Jones in 1935. survivors include his wife a Ballinger sister and several nieces and nephews.

Trevino 51 of Denton formerly Winters resident died at 7 30 p m in West Texas Medical Center Abilene after a long illness Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery Winters with Spill Funeral Home directing Born December 6 1921 at Yancey he married Maxima Apouilla September 11 1939 in Hondo They moved to Winters in 1959 then to Denton five years ago He worked for Alderman Cave Milling & Grain Co He was a Catholic and survived by a son Paul of Winters a daughter Cecilia H Baker of Winters a sister Yggnacia Brienso of Hondo and six grandchildren.
