TWFC District Meeting and Workshop in Ballinger
The Heart of Texas District Texas Women's Federated Clubs will hold a board meeting and workshop at the First Baptist Church in Ballinger on Friday October 17. The luncheon will feature a fine arts theme with displays of arts crafts books paintings and poems from the past two years. All Federated clubs are urged to attend with registration and coffee starting at 8 30 a m.

Former Winters Man Receives Webb AFB Service Award
Allen Gerhart formerly of Winters has earned a Special Act of Service award at Webb AFB for leading an aircraft paint team to completely refinish over 100 T-38 aircraft without defects. He also received a Sustained Superior Performance award for expert technical knowledge and problem solving in the corrosion control shop.
