Charlie Roberts Dies After Months of Illness
Funeral services for Charlie F. Roberts 76 were held Tuesday at Spill Memorial Chapel with Glen Gray of Winters Church of Christ officiating. Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery. Roberts, a World War I veteran and former Winters building inspector, died Sunday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born February 16, 1892 in Bell County and married Gladys Allred in 1919. Survivors include his wife, two sons, three brothers, two sisters, and three grandsons. Pallbearers named.

The Mary Martha Circle of the WSCS met Tuesday morning in Mrs. W. T. Nichols home with eleven members present. Mrs. J. D. Vinson presided and Miss Frances Stricklin led opening prayer.
