Albert Henry Kiefer 57 native of Winters died at his Kerrville home Friday night likely from a heart attack. Funeral 3 p.m. Sunday in Kerrville with burial there. Born June 5 1910 in Winters he moved to Kerrville in 1929 and ran a paint and wallpaper shop 39 years. Survived by wife Merle two daughters Peggy Kiefer Houston and Mrs Walter Schellhase New Orleans La a brother Norman Kiefer Hamilton a sister Mrs J B Templeton Ballinger mother Mrs W J Kiefer Winters and two grandchildren.

Thomas L. Wolford Died in Veterans' Hospital

Thomas L. Wolford 42 died at 4 p m Tuesday February 27 in the Big Spring veterans hospital after a period of illness. Services were held at 2 p m Thursday at Spill Memorial Chapel with ministers from Hatchell and Winters churches of Christ officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Born February 23, 1925 in Del Rio he lived in border towns and served in the U S Marines in the South Pacific where he was wounded. He married Mary Lehman July 21, 1951 in San Angelo. Survivors include his wife two daughters Kathye and Cynthia both of Winters one brother Nelson of Los Angeles Calif Pallbearers were Roy Young B B Campbell Wilbur Phelps Walter Adams Albert Sudduth Robert Mayfield Ralph Parker and Bill Mayo.
