Hopewell Baptist revival set for July in Crews

The Hopewell Baptist Church revival will begin July 5 and run through July 12 with Dr. James Shield of Brownwood delivering the sermons. Visitors are welcome as the community gathers for the event and weekly church activities.

Veterans Can Take Summer Break Without VA Education Loss

Veterans attending college under the G I Bill may take a summer vacation without forfeiting any VA education entitlement. The policy allows a break from formal study while preserving eligibility for benefits when they return.

Mrs. Nat Fine 88 died at Williamsburg Nursing Home in Abilene at 12 20 p m Monday after months of illness. Funeral held 10 a m Wednesday in Spill Memorial Chapel Winters with Rev Lester Carter and Rev Virgil James officiating. Burial in Northview Cemetery under Spill Funeral Home direction. Survivors include one son Elbert E Fine of Johnson City five daughters all Abilene two sisters and numerous grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
