St John Evening Circle Meets at Lutheran Parsonage

Mrs Walter Probst Sr hosted the St John Evening Circle in the Lutheran parsonage. Bible study from Genesis 12 17 opened by song Faith of Our Fathers led by Pastor Walter Probst. Nine members attended with roll call Bible verses observed and plans made to write to a missionary weekly.

Sew and Sew Club Met In Wingate Church Annex

Sew and Sew Club gathered Tuesday afternoon in Wingate Baptist Church Annex with 15 members. They quilted for the hostess, held a business session, revealed secret pals, drew new names, and served punch and coffee to a list of members and guests. The next meeting is planned with Mrs. C D Bradford on March 4.

Texas farm and ranch operators urged to prepare records for census

The 1969 Census of Agriculture urges Texas farm and ranch operators to keep good records for the next census. James Mallett, Extension farm management specialist, notes questionnaires will be mailed in January 1970 and response is required by law. Information is confidential and accurate records ease reporting.

Southside RAs Met Saturday At Church

The Tom McMillan Royal Ambassador chapter met at Southside Baptist Church with Mike Moore presiding. He presented the devotional and activities included kite making for the next session and games. The group concluded with the Lord's Prayer and refreshments were served to Dale Whitecotton Jr. and others.
