Ballinger Bride and Camden Groom Wed in Double Ring Ceremony

Madge Anita Smith of Ballinger and Percy Thomas Snell of Camden Arkansas were married Saturday December 5 at 7 30 p m in the home of the bride s brother Frank H Smith Ballinger officiated by Rev Marvin E Burgess Third Avenue Baptist Church An improvised altar with candlebras greenery and white birds highlighted the ceremony The bride wore a winter white brocade suit and bouqet of roses carnations orchids and english ivy Attendants included Harold Snell and Jackie Canada and the couple s families were present

Couple Weds In Simple Homemaker Ceremony

The bride and groom tied the knot after a wedding trip and will reside in Camden Arkansas. The groom is a Hutting High School graduate employed by International Paper Company in Camden. A reception at the bride’s brother Frank Smith’s home featured white carnation and white stock centerpieces with gold candles. Guests included Mrs. Jimmy Smith and other relatives. Out of town visitors came from Brownwood Crews Coleman and San Angelo.
