Ike and Annie Phillips with Leonard, Bessie Phillips at Frank’s bedside in Killeen. Mrs. Eugene Rodgers had surgery in Abilene and stays with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Cornett visited Gene Virden’s home and niece Mrs. Dan Stanley from Washington. Out‑of‑town mourners at Mrs. J. H. Bryan’s funeral included many from Ballinger, Brownfield, Maverick, Abilene, Fort Worth, San Angelo, Midland, and Dallas.
City of Winters Texas will consider issuing refunding coupon bonds for 129 913 dollars to replace 129 913 General Obligation Warrants dated April 1 1959 at interest not exceeding 5 percent with final maturity no later than December 31 1980.
