Suffocated in a Burning Building at Fifth Avenue Bakery
A fire in the basement of Andrew McMasters bakery at 34 Fifth avenue Suffocated Mrs Elizabeth Hawes and three of her children. The eldest son escaped and alerted firefighters. Mrs Hawes Edith and the youngest son were hospitalized in critical condition. Gertrude remains hoped to be beyond hope.
