Also advertised are folding beds with mirrors in various woods and price tiers, plus luxury furnishings and room-wide combos.
Readable text advertises birch oak mahogany and maple furniture and dressers at astonishing prices. It mentions white maple suites chests bedsteads screens doors bargains on carpets crockery glassware and China, plus matting rugs buggies and summer goods. Emphasizes low prices, broad assortment, and appeals to all customers with large stock and seasonal items.
A window shade promotion touts new colors and durability, plus a broad sale of iron beds with brass knobs priced at 5.50 and an emphasis on a bridal chamber fit. Michael McDonough, convicted of murdering his wife in Kenton, was hanged at 12 08 a m in the penitentiary annex Columbus Ohio. The execution was described as sickening as the rope cut deeply into the neck severing the trachea and jugular vein. Blood spurted on a attending physician and a torrent flowed to the stone floor while spectators grew pale. The heartbeat stopped about one and a half minutes after the drop.
