Chicago dispatch reports Cleveland and Gray as the probable ticket with Cleveland’s nomination viewed as foregone. Indiana backing solid for Cleveland and Gray named as vice president. opposition factions show little chance to defeat the ticket as Mr Gorman’s deal influences the Illinois and Indiana alignments.
Cleveland managers gathered at Richelian rooms with forty committee members to review the campaign.
