Woman seeks pension office place after Johnstown trip

Mrs M J Bimsdell of Johnstown, described as a sifferer, visited the president's mansion in Washington on June 91 carrying a small brown satchel said to be all she saved. She was on the same train as Mr Halford and Miss Halford and missed her baggage. She now seeks a pension office appointment.

South Dakota Firemen at Yankton Break Some Records

Wind and rain disrupted Yankton events but by afternoon the track dried and records fell. Miller hose company won the hook and ladder race, Elliott claimed the ladder contest, and Yankton edged Huron in the free-for-all hose race. Pierre suffered a mishap with nozzle threading but nearly set a time.

Council at Blue Ridge Fosters Friendly Talks With Indians

Murder and mayhem across states reported in Judith county

Brutal murders across Montana and Indiana are reported in a sequence of crimes. In Judith county Montana a shot woman is found, followed by four bodies aged from infant to adult, all shot in the back or strangled with trunks burned nearby. A wool grower recalls a wagon and dark bay horses as a possible lead, while 100 horsemen search the region. Other incidents include a Vermilion county murder by four boys, a Wisconsin farming injury, Tucson thefts linked to the Paymaster case, three murders in Putnam county West Virginia, and President Harrison's Cape May travel plans.
