Windfall Fire Barn project continues with remodeling of the old bays and a new kitchen for the Volunteer Firemen's Auxiliary. Chief Bud Yohe reports 90 percent completion of the new section to house two firetrucks. renovations in the old section around 50 percent done. A raffle yielded 700 dollars, but the department seeks 4,500 dollars through door to door donations on April 7. Local volunteers urge support to fund wiring plumbing and a recreation room for future equipment needs. The effort honors Janes Martin for wiring solutions and Paul Upchurch for plumbing.
