About twenty five youngsters and ten or twelve older guests attended a evening of games and refreshments ending around 10 30 PM. Viennese cyclist Victor Von Ettlinger returns after crossing continents
Victor Von Ettlinger of Viena Austria arrived today in the city during a world bicycle journey begun November 1 1897 on a ten thousand dollar wager due by November 1 1899 to reach Viena. The 21 year old newspaper artist travels without paying for lodging and can accept only non work aid. He suffered a broken wheel and a sprained left ankle near Winchester but has completed about five thousand miles with hospitality from major papers including The Star. He will resume his westward route tomorrow headed toward continental crossing.
