Mrs Eliza Beatley relict of John Beatley died yesterday afternoon at her National avenue home after a lingering illness. She was 75 and beloved by her children and neighbors. Surviving: Mrs C B Sartelle, Mrs John Barnett, Miss Minerva Beatley, and John Beatley. Funeral tomorrow at 2 PM from the residence, Mt Hebron Cemetery interment. Rev. Jos P Wilson will officiate.

Hog Theft Strikes Local Home on Amherst Street
Last Saturday night a thief stole nearly a full hog from Mr. Kern Bently who kept it in his yard on Amherst Street to cool after buying it the day before. The porker weighed an estimated 200 to 300 pounds.

Miller Haycock nuptials unite at Galilee Church
J W Miller and Eva Haycock, daughter of Charles M Haycock, were married at Galilee Church on the Willtown pike.
