Polk Jones Still At Large After Berryville Charlestown Reappearance
Polk Jones, who vanished from the city Monday, was seen in Berryville and later in Charlestown. Frank Woodward and James Rosenberger pursued him. Jones showed signs of mental imbalance but was not believed seriously ill. He escaped the wagon at Berryville and fled, with Rosenberger continuing the search back to Winchester. It is presumed he returned to Charlestown.

Friendship Fire Company Sets Oyster Supper and Fair
At the Friendship Fire Company's monthly meeting a winter oyster supper and fair were approved with a committee named J E Correll Wm Jenkins H B Grim Wm Deschon Adam Forney Jas M Haymaker and Chas H Hardy. The Waynesboro centennial attendance was left to the prior committee. Invitations were accepted for Sacred Heart Church yard party and U B Churchyard party near Lewis Jones knitting factory. Water seepage into a cellar prompted a committee to investigate the cause.
