Charles Custer's Legs Fractured in Railroad Accident
A.Custer of Summit Point Jefferson county was injured at Magnolia West Virginia when a donkey engine ran away. He suffered a compound fracture of the right leg and an equally severe fracture of the left after jumping from the engine. He worked for Kefauver and McLaren railroad contractors and was taken to City Hospital in Martinsburg for treatment.
