City orders dog killed after bite on Davis boy
Acting for Mayor Ward, Dr. Miller and a city inspector sent the dog belonging to Bud Ryan to the Pasteur Institute for hydrophobia testing. The eight year old Davis boy was bitten on Cecil street during a street tussle. The dog’s head will be examined. Ryan refused to pay for treatment, and the dog was killed under order.
