Four Are Killed in Rear End Wreck Near Baltimore
A Baltimore and Ohio two accommodation trains collided at Hanover Maryland seven miles from Baltimore. Four colored laborers died and about thirty were injured including schoolchildren. Investigators report both trains in same block with the slower train sidetracked for passage. Bodies sent to Baltimore. coroner's inquest proceeding at the scene.

Death of Henry F. Irvine in Mercersburg
Intelligence from Winchester reports Henry F. Irvine died at his Mercersburg home Monday morning after a long illness. At 66 he had served Mercersburg Academy as grounds and buildings superintendent until six weeks prior. He was a noted horticulturist and landscape gardener, survived by his wife and ten children. Funeral held from his residence today.
