George W Crabill longtime Bloom resident farmer and road director and former Confederate soldier died suddenly at his Bloom home at three o clock this morning in his 67th year He served in the Thirty third Virginia Regiment and fought at several battles He was an esteemed figure in Frederick and Shenandoah counties survived by a wife Katherine Frye two siblings and many nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at his home Thursday morning and interment at St Johns Lutheran Cemetery Rev William J Smith to conduct services
