Front Royal Man Dashed to Death At The Opequon
Roy Smith a 28 year old resident of Front Royal Warren county died after losing control of a bicycle he was riding while hanging onto a truck near Opequon creek. His companion Jesse Compton aided him and they were en route from Winchester to Front Royal when the accident occurred. Smith died en route to a Boyce doctor’s office, the skull fracture cited by the physician. State police investigated the death. He left a wife and young children.
