Marion Castlethan reports that the Locomotive Committee aims to complete the Forty and Eight engine costing about $5,000 for the Armistice Day Parade. Eugene Dearing notes circus grounds east of the old airport on Route 50 will host a Mills Brothers circus on October 17, with advance tickets encouraged to fund the Path and Sight Child Welfare Fund, offering 50 percent grant and gate tickets ten percent.
