Man and Woman Found Slain in Car near Columbus
In Columbus on October 26 Mrs Grace Brown widow of Columbus and O H Betts postmaster at Garrett Indiana were found dead in a car fifteen miles north of the city. Both victims were shot Betts believed to have killed the woman then himself. Mrs Brown was in the front seat with a bullet through the right breast. Betts lay in the rear seat with a bullet wound to the head a bottle of poison and a tin cup found on the floor.
