Henry Bell dies from Valley Pike auto crash injuries
Winchester contractor Henry Bell died at Memorial Hospital after a Friday evening collision on the Valley pike near the city. A brain specialist from Johns Hopkins assisted in surgery to relieve brain pressure but meningitis and pneumonia followed, leading to death. Bell, born in Union City New Jersey April 20 1878, leaves a daughter and two grandchildren, plus siblings in New Jersey. Funeral services are set for Thursday at Christ Episcopal Church with burial at Mount Hebron Cemetery.

Writ Vacated in Crawford Extradition Case

Court Revokes Driving Permit Of County Man
Clarence C. Peer of Nain had his driving permit revoked for one year, fined $124.25, and sentenced to one month in jail for operating a car under the influence. Judge Donald L.
