The Capitol Theatre on Rouss Ave in Winchester will show its final film on November 10 as Farmers and Merchants National Bank announces agreement to purchase the building. The bank plans no immediate use, citing added drive in facilities for its Cameron Street branch and public parking. The venue, once Empire Theatre, seats 870 and has a history of live performances before becoming a movie house after a 1928 fire and rebuild.
