Mrs Frances A Brown widow of William Brown longtime keeper of life insurance and a Berryville resident died aged about seventy eight at her home in Winchester. Born August 24 1847 in Clarke County she was a member of the Everhart family and Baptist Church. Funeral services Sunday at 4 PM at her Winchester home with Rev Boyd Switzer officiating. Interment in Green Hill Berryville. pallbearers six nephews J R Everhart Arthur Chaney J L Everhart Ellis F P Jackson Charles C Willingham and J W Riley. She is survived by one brother Charles P Everhart of Berryville and two nieces Mrs J W Bailey Berryville and Mrs Arthur Chaney Winchester and four nephews. Her Confederate veteran husband predeceased her. Her cousin Thornton C Wyndham died recently at age ninety eight.
