Car Rides Into Abutment on New Frederick Bridge
An automobile party from Romney Hampshire County West Virginia struck an abutment of a new bridge at Plague Creek in Frederick County Sunday night. One woman identified as Mrs Fisher suffered a severe shoulder injury and another passenger was hurt but not seriously. The party had been visiting Winchester acquaintances linked to the Jincheste and Western Railway engineering corps and were returning home. Reported misplacement of warning lights left at the abutment may have blinded the driver until two feet away. The car sustained heavy damage.
