Miss Hattie D. Marple long served at the George Washington Hotel and died at Winchester Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born December 24, 1894, she was 37 and survived by five sisters and two brothers. Funeral services are set for Monday at her home with interment in Old Bethel Cemetery.

Auto Stolen In City Recovered At Memphis
Memphis police recovered a maroon and black Chevrolet sports roadster stolen from local streets in April. The owner Maynard Wisecarver has been compensated by insurance. Three trainmen were killed in a rear collision of livestock and coal trains on the Pennsylvania Railroad at Livermore. James Shearer 46 and Robert Libengood 50 were burned in their caboose. Arther S. Anderson a 70 year old Winchester carpenter died at home at 108 West Clifford street after a sudden heart neuralgia attack around 9 30 p m. He had lived most of his life in Winchester and was active in the First Christian Church. Surviving relatives include two wives a daughter Miss Ethel Anderson a brother John W Anderson of Wilmington Del and a surviving second wife formerly Miss Amanda Hlett.
