Wingchester welcomes Queen Marie on arrival as crowds gather for a royal visit. Fire alarm soundings triggered during the event, prompting safety checks and a brief disruption.
Queen Marie halted a Baltimore and Ohio train to visit Winchester Virginia, greeted by Mayor Ward and officials. She spoke briefly, received flowers, apples, and a warm reception before continuing to Harpers Ferry and New York en route to Romania.
