Romanian monarch Queen Marie and her daughter are expected to arrive from Martinsburg about 9 A M. They will visit Winchester in a goodwill tour and meet local residents and officials.
Queen Marie speeds toward Romania with King Ferdinand ill. stops include Storrs Ohio Martinsburg West Virginia and Harpers Ferry before New York. Prince Nicholas travels separately from North Bend to Cincinnati as Queen Marie’s party seeks rest and a safe path home.
J B Beverley a prominent city resident sustained a fractured left wrist and a broken right collarbone when his car and another overturned on a wet asphalt stretch of the Valley pike near Stephens City after skidding.
