Taylor F. Hahn in Grave Condition After Auto Crash
The well known Winchester resident Taylor F. Hahn remained in grave condition after being struck by a car near Valley avenue Tuesday evening. He suffered skull and collar bone fractures and internal injuries with relatives notified that he was failing to improve by early afternoon.

Infant Drowned in Tub Interred in Winchester
The body of 17 month old Frank Edward Donelan son of Mr and Mrs Frank EB Donelan was drowned in a bathtub at their Takoma Park Maryland home Monday morning. He was taken to Mount Hebron Cemetery in Winchester for interment after brief services. The mother Miss Melba Baker is daughter of CG G Baker of Cross Junction. The child was left playing in a few inches of water while the mother attended household tasks and was found dead in over a foot of water. Firemen and physicians were unable to revive him after about an hour of care.

Routt Aged Educator Dies After Month of Illness
Prof. William K. Routt, Sr. of Lexington Kentucky, retired educator, died last Sunday in Waynesboro Virginia after a month of illness. He was 70, survived by his widow and son W. K. Routt Jr who married Ruth Pbersole. Funeral services were held in Waynesboro and he was interred in Lexington.
