Mrs Susan FE Fleet died at 10 pm Saturday at 534 North Kent Street after a long illness. She was 76, widow of James L Fleet and daughter of Elias Athey of Frederick Maryland. Survived by sons Joseph and Robert Fleet and brother Charles J Athey. Funeral at 4 o clock Tuesday at her home with interment in Mount Hebron Cemetery.

New George Washington Hotel to Feature Store Rooms

Fire Destroys Barn Killing Dozens of Chickens in Solenberger Property
A Saturday evening barn fire at Mrs. Noah Solenberger’s corner Market and Clark streets destroyed a barn and chicken house, burning about 40 chickens. Firefighters protected the Solenberger dwelling as flames swept through a cluster of outbuildings. a crowd blocked traffic and a brawl occurred until police separated combatants.
