Wife Murderer Confesses Guilty in Virginia Case
Thomas W. Dean pleaded guilty to second degree murder for the June killing of his wife Molde Dean in Frederick County Virginia. Judge Frank B. Whiting sentenced him to 16 years in the penitentiary. Attorney Ward and Larrick argued for Dean while Virginia State Attorney John M. Steck joined in the plea. A character witness testified to Dean’s neighborhood regard and questioned Mrs. Dean’s reputation. The incident occurred at Dock McKee’s home where Dean allegedly pursued a relationship with Mrs. Dean.
