Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Eugene Allen Patterson six year old son of Mr and Mrs Charles Patterson at their home 430 North Kent Street. Rev W L Dudley of the Church of Christ conducted the service with interment in Mount Hebron Cemetery. He is survived by his parents two sisters Elsie and Nellie and his grandparents Joseph Patterson and Mr and Mrs D M Kidwell all of this city.

Doctor Called Out At Night Found Slain In Garage
Dr. Frederick J. Carley aged 58 of Sturdy Memorial Hospital was found shot to death in his garage in North Attleboro Massachusetts. A robbed motive is suspected as his empty billfold and checkbook lay nearby. The widow reported he answered a 430 am sick call and went to the garage where his car lights were on when his body was discovered.
