Latour Guatemalan Envoy Dies After Surgery in Capital
Senor Don Francisco Sanchez Latour the Guatemalan minister to the United States died in Washington after an appendectomy performed last Saturday. Friends indicated his strength had weakened since he was found unconscious in his study last July with a bullet wound near the heart from his own pistol. The shooting was described as accidental. News of his illness had been kept from the public until recently.

Funeral Services For Late Mr. Seal Held At 3 P M
The last rites for Washington Monroe Seal of the Moling and Seal dry goods firm will be held at Market Street Methodist Episcopal Church at 3 p m tomorrow. Reverend J Luther Neff will lead the service with Winchester Lodge No 65 Knights of Pythias members in full attendance. Interment is in Mount Hebron Cemetery, with active and honorary pallbearers named from church and lodge members.

Stephens City to get another public school building
The county supervisors endorsed borrowing 6000 dollars from a bank to construct a second school in Stephens City to relieve congestion at the existing high school. A 24 hour parking limit on Frederick plaza was approved with a 2.50 fine to curb extended parking. Excess dog tax funds were moved to the general road fund. The board also accepted surveys for two new roads, one near Gnatsville and another east of Winchester near Harris Addition.

Series of blasts devastate Hammond State Theatre and damage church
