Young West Virginia manager Mayo Frye dies in Baltimore
Mayo P. Frye aged about 30, a farmer from Hampshire County, West Virginia and manager of Frye's Hotel in Capon Bridge, died last night in Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore from an abscess of the brain. He was moved from Memorial Hospital to Baltimore after sudden illness and expired shortly after arrival. He is survived by his mother Mrs Henson Frye and a sister Mrs Pearl Ramsburg of Martinsburg. The body will be taken to Capon Bridge this evening and funeral arrangements await tomorrow.

He died at 9 30 Sunday morning at 410 South Cameron Street Winchester after a struggle with high blood pressure and a brain blood clot. Car goes over embankment injuring Washington couple
Mr and Mrs George T Chitty of Washington DC were hurt when their car left the Washington pike between Boyce and Opequon creek. A high powered vehicle forced them off the road causing the wreck and a triple tumble. A Maryland motorist rescued them and a doctor in Winchester treated Mrs Chitty who suffered cuts and shock. They returned to Washington later. Mr Chitty formerly worked for the Eddy Press and is now with the Washington Star. Mrs Chitty was Miss Mayme Lowery of the city.

Nimrod Oates of Capon Bridge West Virginia died Friday night at City Hospital Martinsburg. Funeral held yesterday at Fairview Church with Rev Courtney Anderson officiating. Burial in church cemetery. He was 66, survived by widow Mittie Arnold, a son Webster, three brothers and a sister. He was a member of P O S of A and longtime Methodist.
