Feed Additives Boost Egg Production for Laying Hens
USDA reports demonstrate that including meat scrap milk products tankage or fish scrap in hen rations markedly increases egg output, especially in fall and winter. Tests at Beltsville Md and Purdue show 10 to 25 percent of such feeds can raise eggs per hen, with fish meal and tankage performing as well as meat scrap.
