Moose Lodge Honors Past Governors
Winchester Lodge No. 1283 Loyal Order of Moose held a meeting to honor past governors and install new members. E. Holmes Newcome reviewed the lodge history since 1947 as 11 past governors and officers were recognized for their service. Charles N. Brice noted 10,000+ new Moose members statewide this year and urged facility expansion. Keller Nichols reported Bantam Bowling League results and accepted a trophy for the youngsters.

The Clarke Frederick D H LA will hold the first of its summer twilight meetings at Rock Hill Farm in Warren County on June 1 at 7 p m. Guest speaker E G Fouse vice president of the Federal Land Bank and the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Baltimore will address advancement in farm credit after a tour of the Rock Hill dairy.
