Herrera Threatens Drive of Americans From Mexico
General Funston relayed Mexican sources claiming General Herrera warned American troops to withdraw or be driven out. He allegedly set July 1 as the date to move against General Pershing if forces do not begin toward the border. About twenty two thousand Mexican troops were reported near the Americans. General Gavira allegedly proposed taking over the patrol between Dublan and Namiquipa.

Mrs Lemley Dies at Stephens City After Illness
Mrs Ida Lemley died at her home in Stephens City on Saturday afternoon after a brief illness. She was the widow of John Lemley and formerly Miss Ida Bucher. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 o clock from the Lutheran Church, Rev Kline officiating, with burial in Stephens City Cemetery. She was 20 years a Sunday school teacher at Trinity Lutheran and was survived by her brother W M Bucher of Harrisonburg and a niece Mrs E L Lemley of Stephens City.

Train No. 15 of the Shenandoah Specials running toward Winchester struck a drove of cattle near Swimsley in Clarke County shortly after noon today. Several cattle were reported killed as the train, moving slowly near Swimley station, caused wires in the area to fail, delaying fuller details.
