Teachers Tentatively Appointed in Frederick County
Frederick County School Board tentatively re appointed about 70 teachers while Superintendent Leslie D. Kline withheld the list. Appointees must show the equivalent of a professional certificate or obtain credits through summer school or extension courses to qualify. Ten years ago a resolution barred hiring without the normal certificate, affecting about 13 persons. 29 extension courses have been offered in that period, 15 would have sufficed. After September 15, 1942 all teachers must hold a collegiate professional certificate.
