River victim search continues at Shenandoah in murky floodwater
Rescue crews from Front Royal Strasburg and Winchester failed to locate a Winchester man who dived into the Shenandoah River above Riverton dam about 6 30 p.m. The water rose four to five feet overnight and remained muddy hampering diver visibility as a five man Frederick County team joined the operation. Sheriff Lynn Armentrout said the decision to resume or halt the hunt would hinge on water conditions.
