The Westernaires square and round dance club will host its season finale on May 29 at Emma Coub School Sharpsburg Pike Hagerstown Maryland. Dancing runs 730 to 1030 pm Curley Custer calls square dances and Ted and Janie Reeder cue rounds. All area dancers invited.
174 seniors received diplomas at Seton Hill College 61st commencement in Sullivan Hall on Sunday May 13 led by Lisa Gail Stowe of Winchester earning a bachelor of science in home economics merchandising.
Mrs Greenhalgh and Mrs George P Greenhalgh Jr of Boyce will continue as Master and secretary treasurer of the Blue Ridge Hunt following the annual meeting on May 17. The hunt covers kennels care, hound walking, and a breeding program with the Winchester-Frederick unit of the American Cancer Society noting memorial gifts aid research, education and services.
