Stop Drop Roll Teaches Young Fire Safety At School
105 first graders at Senseny Road Elementary took part in a fire safety program with the Winchester Fire Dept including a play fire demonstration. Lt Eddie Lillis and the Friendship Fire Co stressed exit drills and family safety to prevent child fire deaths. The program has reached about 19 000 residents in 18 months, with a fall rollout of a six week Learn Not to Burn course in Winchester schools.
