J Edward Evans a well known retired farmer died at 4 30 pm yesterday at his son Howard Evans home in Stephens City after a long illness. He had left Tulip 22 years ago to live with his son. Surviving are a daughter Katie Evans Washington DC and two sons Howard Stephens City and Elmer Tulip plus six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Sunday afternoon at Ridings Chapel conducted by Rev H E Richardson with burial in Ridings Chapel Cemetery.
